21 Savage a popular American based rapper released a new song and was later arrested. This caused him to miss performing at the Grammy's 2019. He was however released from jail 9 days later with the help of Jay Z but had to raise a hundred thousand dollars as bond. This was after efforts from his fans using the hashtag #Free21Savage went viral. Top celebrities were in the war front fighting for the unjustified arrest of this rapper.
21 Savage was born in the UK and moved to America when he was seven years old. He is now trying to acquire permanent citizenship in from the States Of America. The reason for his arrest might have been provoked by the lyrics of his new song featuring J Cole, A Lot. However 21 Savage claimed he isn't sure if that was the reason even though his VISA allowing him to stay in America had expired.
